All Elpro products are type-tested and meet the respective DIN EN standards. They are intended for use in DC rail power supply systems for a rated voltage of up to 3.6 kV DC.

The high-speed switch module(HSSM) we manufacture was also developed in-house and is among the major inventions from Elpro. The HSSM facilitates fast, wear-free, and bi-directional shut-downs of operating and residual current in forward and reverse direction without contact scorching since an arc is avoided when switching operating and short-circuit currents.
Efficient and effective monitoring and control of equipment and systems for DC railway power applications was implemented by building the combined protection and control unit (SGBA) from Elpro.
